Welcome to StatFlow ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you understand how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information. This Privacy Policy applies to our mobile application and website.

StatFlow is operated by Jasmind Digital, based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name and email address.
• Sports Statistics: We collect and store all sports performance data, training statistics, and game statistics that you enter into the app.
• User-Generated Content: Any notes, comments, or other content you create within the app.

Information Collected Automatically

We collect certain information automatically when you use our app through Firebase Analytics (provided by Google LLC). This includes:

• Usage Events: Screens viewed, features used, session duration, and interaction patterns within the app.
• App Interactions: Button taps, navigation flows, and feature engagement.
• Device Information: Operating system version, app version, device model, and device identifiers.
• Approximate Location: Country or region only (not precise location).
• Crash and Performance Data: Technical diagnostics to identify and fix issues.

This data is collected in a pseudonymous manner and does not include direct identifiers such as your name or email address. We do not collect advertising IDs or use Firebase for advertising purposes.

Payment Information

We use RevenueCat to process subscription payments. RevenueCat may collect payment and transaction information. We do not directly collect or store your payment card details. Please review RevenueCat's privacy policy for information on how they handle your data.

Third-Party Analytics and Services

We use the following third-party services to operate and improve StatFlow:

Firebase Analytics (Google LLC): We use Firebase Analytics to collect and analyze usage data on our behalf. Firebase helps us understand how users interact with our app, which features are most popular, and where we can improve the user experience. Data collected by Firebase may be processed on Google servers located in the United States and other regions outside Canada.

Firebase operates under Google's Privacy Policy. We have configured Firebase to not collect advertising identifiers and do not use Firebase for advertising, ad personalization, or cross-app tracking purposes.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our services
• Create and manage your account
• Calculate and display your sports statistics and analytics
• Process your subscription payments through RevenueCat
• Respond to your comments, questions, and support requests
• Conduct product analytics and feature improvement through Firebase Analytics
• Understand user behavior, retention, and engagement patterns
• Diagnose crashes, bugs, and performance issues
• Evaluate premium feature usage in aggregated form

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties except in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: We share data with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our app:
  • RevenueCat for payment processing
  • Google Firebase for analytics and diagnostics
  These providers act as data processors on our behalf and are contractually obligated to protect your data. We do not allow Firebase to use your data for advertising purposes.
• Anonymized Data: We may use anonymized, aggregated statistics to improve our services and understand user behavior. This data cannot be used to identify individual users.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
• Business Transfers: If StatFlow is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Automated Processing and Insights

StatFlow uses automated processing to generate performance insights, calculate advanced statistics, and analyze your training and game data. These insights are provided for informational purposes only and are based on the data you input.

We do not make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant personal effects on you. All insights and analytics are meant to support your own decision-making. You remain fully responsible for all training, gameplay, and health-related decisions.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on MongoDB Atlas servers located in AWS Oregon (us-west-2), United States. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information and statistics for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently deleted from our servers. You can delete your account at any time through the app settings.

Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access: You can access your personal information through your account settings.
• Correction: You can update your account information and statistics at any time within the app.
• Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data at any time through the app settings.
• Data Portability: Data export functionality is not currently available but may be added in future updates.
• Analytics Opt-Out: While we do not currently offer an in-app toggle to disable analytics, you can limit data collection through your device settings:
  • iOS: Settings → Privacy → Analytics & Improvements → "Share iPhone Analytics" (off)
  • Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization"
  Please note that analytics data is used in aggregated form to improve the app experience for all users.

Children's Privacy

StatFlow is available to users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete that information immediately. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Mobile App: Our mobile app does not use cookies. However, we use analytics SDKs (Firebase Analytics) to collect usage data as described in this policy. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-app tracking technologies.

Website: Our website does not currently use cookies. If we introduce cookies in the future, we will update this policy and provide appropriate notice.

International Data Transfers

Your data is stored on servers located in the United States (AWS Oregon region). Additionally, data collected by Firebase Analytics may be processed on Google servers in the United States and other regions worldwide.

If you are accessing StatFlow from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other countries. By using our services, you consent to this transfer and understand that these countries may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy and through an in-app notification. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
